This fused glass panel of an underwater scene has been in the kiln for two firings of up to 1500 F. degrees and over twenty hours each time. The fish, plants and coral are done separately at first to give them their three dimensional appearance. They are then placed onto the already fused background with all of its embellishments of background fish and plants to represent an underwater environment. The second firing allows the 3 dimensional pieces to adhere to the background without melting into it.
The panel is 7 x 6 1/4 inches and is complete with a handmade aluminum frame for hanging.
The cost is $85 including taxes and shipping.
