This dichroic glass lamb shawl/pin is made of layered brilliant dichroic colored fused glass. The dichroic glass layers are adhered to a particular black glass foundation in the kiln. During the 24 hour baking cycle, the kiln, in turn, helps to bring out the glossy brilliant color of the dichroic glass. It is all one piece with several layers. You can see the silver face change into pinks and gold with a change in your movement or that of the lighting.
The nature of the dichroic glass is such, that with different lighting, it changes color. Therefore, it adds to the charming and electric personality of our lamb.
A felted fabric attaches a tie pin back. Wear the pin as an accent pin; as a closure for a shawl; on a scarf; be creative.
Brilliant, glossy, dichroic lamb is one of a kind and handmade by me, in my glass studio, in Vermont. Its whimsy will spread cheer and delight to you and all who see it.
