Love this dichroic glass fairytale house shawl/pin 7, with its dark purple roof atop a golden orange facade front and add it into your wardrobe. Special dichroic fused glass is the material. Twenty four hours in the kiln brings out the glossy brilliant color of the dichroic glass. It is all one piece with several layers. You can see the purple roof, atop a multi-color gold/orange facade and two dark blue/purple windows. The door is dark black and blue as well. It looks like no one is home and it’s just waiting for its owner. Maybe they are all asleep. All these individual pieces, made from dichroic glass, change color with your movement or the difference in lighting. This, in turn, adds to the charming and electric presence of the house.
A felted fabric attaches a tie pin back. Wear the pin as an accent pin; as a closure for a shawl; on a scarf; be creative.
Fairytale house 8 is unique and handmade by me, in my glass studio, in Vermont. Memory can bring us back to our childhood and the books we read. It has whimsy and will spread cheer and delight to you and all who see her.
