Our 19 inch scenic round glass platter of homes overlooking the river, developed in two stages. First, after an initial 26 hours and temperatures up to 1400 degrees baking in the kiln the layers of glass fused together and brought it to life. A beautiful glossy finish and a very smooth surface resulted. Second kiln time allowed placement onto a ceramic mold that shaped the piece.
Allowing the glass to become more viscous, at a lower temperature, helps it to take on the shape of the mold
These homes overlooking the river, on the 19 inch mosaic glass platter, is food safe. Keep it bright and shiny by handwashing it.
