This Mardi Gras Confetti glass platter, 15 inches round, comes to life with brilliant colors and great glossy sheen. As a result of an initial 26 hours and temperatures up to 1400 degrees baking in the kiln the layers of glass fused together and came to life. A beautiful glossy finish and a very smooth surface resulted. Secondly, additional kiln time, shaped it by its placement onto a special ceramic mold. The mosaic border holds the mardi gras glass platter together.
Allowing the glass to become more viscous, at a lower temperature, helps it to take on the shape of the mold.
This 15 inch Mardi Gras confetti like mosaic platter glass platter, is food safe. Keep it bright and shiny by handwashing it.
