Fit this dichroic fairytale house shawl/pin 6, with its bubbled aqua/blue roof and paisley front into your wardrobe. Special dichroic fused glass is the material. Baking for 24 hours in the kiln brings out the glossy brilliant color of the dichroic glass. It is all one piece with several layers. You can see the bubbly roof, atop a gold/orange/black paisley front with a floor of triangular multi-color windows. Inviting us in is a fuschia door and a glowing green handle. All these individual pieces, made from dichroic glass, change color with your movement or the difference in lighting. This, in turn, adds to the charming and electric presence of the house.
A felted fabric attaches a tie pin back. Wear the pin as an accent pin; as a closure for a shawl; on a scarf; be creative.
Fairytale house 6 is unique and handmade by me, in my glass studio, in Vermont. Memory can bring us back to our childhood and the books we read. It has whimsy and will spread cheer and delight to you and all who see her.
