The panel has been in the kiln for 2 firings of up to 1370 F. degrees. This allows the background to become very smooth and shiny and for the figure to stand out in 3 dimensions. All the glass is adhered together and the dichroic parts pick up all the light and bring in many different colors.
Furthermore a handmade black aluminum frame complements his 5 x 8 inch size and makes him ready to hang.
