Greyhound on Black is a fused glass piece of wall art. It had been in the kiln for 2 firings of up to 1370 F. degrees. Firstly, this allowed the 2 background pieces to join together. Secondly the Greyhound on Black was fired, at a lower temperature, to stand out in 3 dimensions. The purposeful textured black background gives more contrast to the greyhound who is multicolored.
A handmade black aluminum frame for hanging accompanies the piece.
