Multicolor Fish with Seahorse is a fused glass panel of an underwater scene. It had been in the kiln for two firings and over twenty hours each time. The fish and seahorse were done separately at first, in a ceramic mold, to give them a three dimensional appearance. They were then placed onto the background with all of the embellishments to represent an underwater environment. The second firing allows the pieces to adhere to the background without melting into it.
It comes complete with a handmade aluminum frame for hanging.
