Organic Dichroic Megan Pin

An all dichroic glass organic shaped  Megan pin for your wardrobe. Megan is a pin with a variety of changing colors from blue to purple to green. It’s flower like petals are layered with a  centered  orange/gold round sphere. Dichroic fused glass is the material that changes color as the light hits it or as  you move about. In the kiln, the dichroic glass pieces all adhere together to form an organic “Megan” petal flower for the pin , which continually changes color. Light actually brings it to “life.”  but  the the myriad of colors, after 24 hours in the kiln, make it sparkle. This, in turn,  adds to the charming and electric presence of the pin.

A small felted fabric  attaches  a tie pin back. Wear the pin as an accent pin;  as a closure for a shawl; on a scarf; on a hat; be creative.

This is a unique, one of a kind, piece  and is  handmade by me, in my Vermont glass studio.
