Red Fish with Coral is a fused glass panel of an underwater scene. It had been in the kiln for two firings and over twenty hours each time. The fish and coral are done separately. First baked, in a ceramic mold, to give them their three dimensional appearance. Afterwards onto the background with all of their embellishments to represent an underwater environment. The second firing allows the pieces to adhere to the background without melting into it.
Red Fish with Coral is complete with a handmade brushed silver aluminum frame for hanging.
