This underwater fused glass scene of Blue Fish with Orange School of Fish has been in the kiln for two firings of up to 1500 F. degrees and over twenty hours each time. The fish and vegetation are added separately to give them their three dimensional appearance. They are then placed onto the background with all of their embellishments to represent an underwater environment. The second firing allows the pieces to adhere to the background without melting into it.
