Cool Cow Dichroic Pin

This  “cool” cow is made of all dichroic fused glass. The dichroic  layers are  adhered to a black glass foundation in the kiln.  During the  24 hour baking cycle, the kiln, in turn, helps  to bring out the glossy brilliant color of the dichroic glass.  It is all one piece with several layers. You can see her spotted face with sparkling cerulean and fuschia colored   ” sunglasses” that  protect her from the sun while overlooking  a multicolored nose.

The nature of the dichroic glass is such, that with different lighting, it changes color. Therefore, it adds to the charming and electric personality of our bovine friend.

A felted fabric  attaches  a tie pin back. Wear the pin as an accent pin;  as a closure for a shawl; on a scarf; be creative.

Cool cow is one of a kind and handmade by me, in my glass studio, in Vermont. She has whimsy and will spread cheer and delight to you and all who see her.
