Yellow Fish with Coral is a fused glass framed underwater scene. It had been in the kiln for two firings lasting over twenty hours each time. The fish and coral are made separately at first, in a ceramic mold, to give them their three dimensional appearance. They are then placed onto the background with all of their embellishments to represent an underwater environment. The second firing allows the pieces to adhere to the background without melting into it.
It comes with a handmade brushed silver aluminum frame ready for hanging.
