Yellow Fish with Seashells is a fused glass panel of an underwater scene ready for hanging. It has been in the kiln for two firings for over twenty hours each time. The fish and shells are done separately at first, in a ceramic mold. This gives them their three dimensional appearance. They are then placed onto the background with all of their embellishments to represent an underwater environment. The second firing allows the pieces to adhere to the background without melting into it.
