Yellow Fish, Seahorse and Jellyfish is a fused glass panel of an underwater scene. It had been in the kiln for two firings of up to 1500 F. degrees for over twenty hours each time. The fish, shell and seahorse are done separately at first, in a ceramic mold. This gives them their three dimensional appearance. Replaced onto the background, with all of their embellishments, now represents an underwater environment. The second firing allows the pieces to adhere to the background without melting into it.
